SERVICES AND PRODUCTS
Crowns and Bridges
Porcelain allied to metal is still the most common restoration technique today.
The Atlantis Dental Lab uses the highest quality alloys and porcelain.
Metal: Our predominantly popular alloy contains 51.5% gold and 38.5% palladium. We also offer an alloy containing 87.3% gold for a restoration made entirely of gold.
At your request we can also use the metal of your choice.
Porcelain: Our favorite porcelain has always been Vita. His reputation is well established. We currently use VITA VMK MASTER and Vita VM13. Both materials have interesting aesthetic qualities and quality coloring. Whether crowns or bridges, the Atlantis Dental Laboratory is able to provide the highest quality castings, with marginal adaptations and metalworking, and aesthetic and functional alterations to relates to porcelain.
It is possible to choose the color of the porcelain, because our intention is to satisfy both the dentist and the patient.
Implants
We work with leading implant manufacturers and are able to provide you with any information that can help you complete the study (treatment) of a file.
All-Porcelain Crowns
The goal is very simple: to produce a malleable ceramic that can have both the appearance of a natural tooth and exceptional durability. The results are simply revolutionary!
Generic-Pentron, the pioneer in ceramics has developed 3G. The patented technology of 3G Esthetics allows dental laboratories to produce compliant, high-strength, lithium disilicate glass-ceramic restorations. 3G brand porcelain is recommended for front and back decks of three units as well as for single crowns.
Note: The all-porcelain OPC 3G crown does not contain any crystals and is extremely soft for the opposite dentition.
Preparation of anterior teeth
Unit crown and bridge abutments:
• Minimal tooth reduction should be 1.0 to 1.5 mm axial and 2.0 mm incisal-occlusive. Finish the preparation in the shoulder (angle of 90 to 105 degrees) with a slightly rounded gingivoaxial internal angle.
• Place the margin at the top of the gingiva. Round off any point or angle. Remove the scraps and prepare the parallel walls to form the path of insertion.
• The occlusal reduction must correspond to the anatomy of the tooth, to obtain an excellent reproduction of the occlusion and an equal thickness of the porcelain. This contributes to the strength of the restoration.
Preparation of posterior teeth
Crowns of premolars and bridges as well as single crowns for molars only.
As you know, the majority of the chewing force is perpendicular to the margin. This is why a margin of 90 degrees is mandatory. A slight corrugation is acceptable, but the 1 mm depth and rounded 90 degree angle must be respected.

Ceramic Crown (Zirconia)
Zirconia or Zirconium ceramic is the closest material to the aesthetics of a real tooth. The alternative is a cromo-metallic crown (the metal can be precious metal such as gold). The advantage of a ceramic crown is to be more translucent and not to leave a gray border at the base of the tooth. In addition, it contains no metal which is an advantage to avoid allergies.
Removable Prostheses
Removable Prostheses replace both missing teeth and the gingiva. Atlantis Dental Laboratory offers comprehensive dentures and partial services. We also offer acrylic occlusal plates, surgical trays and mouthguards. A repair service is also available. We only use the best products, such as Bego and Vitallium metals for molds and Lucitone 900 for acrylic restorations.
The complete prosthesis
The complete prosthesis is a resin base, retention hooks (clips) with prefabricated teeth and applied directly to the gums. These teeth can be reinforced resin or porcelain. They form a “false palace” that can be removed for the maintenance of teeth and meals.
